Rodney “K.” Martin, Spring 2022 Hyattsville/Landover Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, was born July 2, 1972 in Phoenix, AZ. He grew up in a military family living in a few different states; Montana, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Utah and overseas in Okinawa where he graduated from Kadena High School.

He is a husband to Lashaun Martin, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and father to Arija and Elán Martin.

His professional experience spans 20 plus years in the industries of; military, purchasing, contracting, insurance, financial planning, real estate, and information technology. He is currently IT Management business owner, Deacon with Zion Church and a retired Army National Guard Major

Throughout his life, he always held a heart for contributing to his fellow man and making an uncommon contribution to society. He believes that Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. is the perfect organization in which for him to belong as the fraternities focus on achievement in every field of human endeavor and their goals and plans to that end; are a match for his goals.
