Funding
Request for Funding from the Kappa Foundation of Prince George's County, Inc.
Individuals or organizations seeking funds from the Kappa Foundation of Prince George’s County, Inc., must adhere to the proposal guidelines outlined below. To be considered for grant funding, the proposal must address each required criteria and consist of no more than 4-5 pages:
1. COVER LETTER
Provide a brief overview of your organization and its structure, to include, name of organization; specific type of organizational entity (i.e., corporation, partnership, etc.); date and State where organization created; and the organization’s stated purpose/mission.
2. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Provide a summary of the specific objective(s) of the proposal; the number of targeted beneficiaries of the project; current dedicated funding and sources in support of the project; and the amount of funding required to complete the project, to include the specific amount requested from the Foundation.
3. ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Describe your organizations staffing background, and prior experience and expertise in project and grant fund management. Include, if available, a list of prior projects.
4. SCOPE OF WORK
List of project activities/objectives and corresponding timelines (anticipated dates of completion).
5. STAFFING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Identify project staff and their relevant qualifications.
6. PROJECTED OUTCOMES AND DELIVERABLES
Specify what your organization plans to accomplish with the grant funds and if possible, identify any specific deliverables.

7. BUDGET FOR PROJECT
Identify any other funding sources received and/or requested in support of this project.
8. POINT OF CONTACT
