Scholarships and Awards
The Foundation collaborates with the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter to provide numerous scholarships and achievement awards to young people transitioning into post-secondary education. In past years, the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Chapter has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships to hundreds of students in the Prince George’s County community. We strive to recognize excellence within our youth.
Community Outreach
The Foundation strengthens the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter’s capacity to partner with a variety of other nonprofit organizations and government agencies to support community outreach initiatives such as Toys for Tots, Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors, and Holiday Food Baskets for Needy Families and Children. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who need us the most.
