Updated: Dec 22, 2021

The Kappa Foundation of Prince George’s County, Inc., joined the international global "Giving Tuesday" community on the evening of November 30, 2021. This was the organization’s first formal Virtual Giving Tuesday Event to solicit funds from family, friends, and supporters across the country.

It was a 3 hour virtual event that highlighted the mission, purpose and programs supported by the Foundation. The Giving Tuesday Event generated approximately $4,000.00 that will be used to fund our youth development, senior citizens, and community food basket programs. Along with Joseph Lovett, President of the Foundation and Richard Baker, Polemarch of the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter, the Foundation appreciates the participation of Maryland State Senators Brother Malcom Augustine and Brother Ronald Watson, Jr., who endorse the valuable work of the Foundation to the Prince George’s County community. Special thanks to all who supported "Virtual Giving Tuesday Event of 2021.”
